Cinedigm Acquires North American Rights To The Heartwarming Holiday Film ‘Lost At Christmas’
Leading independent streaming company Cinedigm announced today that it has acquired all North American rights to Lost at Christmas, the touching tale of two strangers that come together to try and make it home for Christmas. The feel-good festive romance is set to release this holiday season.
The film is anchored by an exceptional cast including Sylvester McCoy (The Hobbit: An Unexpected
Journey), Frazer Hines (Doctor Who) and Clare Grogan (Skins); alongside rising stars Natalie Clark and
Kenny Boyle. Based on the award-winning short film by director Ryan Hendrick, Lost at Christmas
follows an unlikely pair of companions trying to save what appears to be a disastrous Christmas season.
Hundreds of miles from home, in the frozen landscape of the Scottish Highlands, the unlikely pair are
both distraught from their own holiday heartbreaks. With both eager to return home, they soon realize
that the only way to do that is together. As their journey takes them further from their charted course,
they meet a handful of characters along the way and come to realize together is exactly where they are
supposed to be.
Hendrick also co-wrote the film with Clare Sheppard, as well as taking on the role as an Executive
Producer. Additional Executive Producers include Graham Reid and Stephen Wright. With David Newman
acting as the film’s Producer. The deal was negotiated by Brandon Hill, Manager of Acquisitions, on behalf of Cinedigm and Priscilla Smith at Foxglove Entertainment on behalf of Magic Monkey Films. Foxglove is the sister company of genre sales agency The Coven.
Synopsis: It’s Christmas Eve when life is turned upside down for Jen and Rob. Suddenly finding
themselves heartbroken, single and stranded during a snowstorm, the unlikely pair team up to try and
return home in time for Christmas. Bickering and bonding as they cross the snowy Scottish Highlands,
they eventually arrive at a remote inn, and in true Christmas style, there is only one room left. Jen and
Rob reluctantly agree to room-share as they come to the realisation they are stuck together for
Christmas.
